Same face or not (#1)

Qian Yi always like to get closer to Qian Thung and asked us :"Mommy, same face or not?" She will be very happy when we answered her :"Yes, same".

Both of them looks quiet alike but not 100% same. I actually do not like to compare my 2 angels as I respect and understand the individuality that is in them. After all, they are not twin sister!!! Having said that, I wish they will looks very alike.

Anyway, below are the photo I took for them with the same yellow dress. Can u guess and tell who is who? I will continue and try my best to dress up QT with the same dress that wore by QY.

As mentioned earlier, Qian Yi is definitely a good little model for daddy when comes to photo shooting session.

Without having told to post this and that, she naturally comes out with the various pose and all daddy have to do is to hold his camera tight and ready to shoot. Readyyyy....go!!!

A day with Daddy and a night with Mommy

On Sunday, Qian Yi followed daddy back to Taiping to fetch 'mak ee' while mommy and Qian Thung stayed at home.

Both of them were having and enjoying Mc-breakfast at Sunshine Square before leaving for Taiping.
















She definitely loved to pose for daddy at mak ee's place ...

















At night, I spared her 30 min on doing some revision/homework on Math after baby QT has slept. I seldom doing revision on her school works at home as I thought it's only a nursery class. But to my surprise, she knows and remembers all of the pages her teachers taught her at school.

Lately, I've realised how much I've neglected her ever since QT was born 1.5 months ago when she kept on asking me - 'Mommy, u still love me or not?', 'Mommy, why nowadays u only talk to baby?', 'Mommy, why u only smile at baby?' and etc etc. Of course, Mommy still love you as always. The best way to answer her questions or rather, her queries is to spend a little bit more time with her as and when I can. During the night, I draw and she counts... 1+1=2, 2+1=3 and etc etc.. I can tell from her face how happy she was over the night and she definitely enjoys mommy's time and accompany on doing this revision and kept on calling me "teacher teacher"...

Qian Thung @ 1.5 mo

QT was caught with some virus and was down with 37.9 degree fever on Saturday. This is the 1st time she turned into a fussy and clingy baby who wants mommy's carry most of the time.

She has her cutie smile back as soon as she wake up from her nap, exactly 1 hour after we fed her the medication prescribed by doctor. When her fever subsided, she turned back to be my good and adoreable baby as usual and mommy is sooo relief .....

Hello from my baby doll

My baby doll is 1 month and 1 week old as of 9 Oct.

Weight : 4.85kg (increase by 1.4kg since birth).

Milk consumption : both formula milk and breast milk. 3 oz every 2/3 hrs. Mommy will try hard to give breast milk as long as possible, as mommy hope u will grow stronger and healtier with breast milk.

She is really a good and gentle baby most of the time. Sleep well and eat well, and play by herself when waking up.

Qian Thung is 1 month old today

Today I must say again, time really really flies. :) Back from the 1st moment confirming this pregnancy in Jan'08, and later went through all over again the 1st trimester, 2nd trimester and final trimester for 9 months like a 1st time mother as I almost forgot those experiences from 1st pregnancy. With a blink of eye only, the big day finally fall on 2 Sept 08. I could't believe how my little one has grown so 'completely' inside my stomach and I really fall in love with her the moment when nurse passed her to me at birth. It clear my doubts immediately as I always wonder if I could love QT as much as I love QY... Now I realised how true that mother's love towards their children will be multiplying instead of dividing...

After 1 month confinement day with lots of sleeping and eating, my little one has reached 1 month old today. The full month celebration started with hair cutting session. Gong Gong came to 'host' the celebration by cutting some of QT's hair...

















New look after the hair cut. Her weight increase from 3.46kg to 4.65kg in a month time.

















QT received lots of ang pao and presents... Thanks to all the relatives, friends and colleague of mommy and daddy.

























Praying session at our own place, then we proceed to both grandparent's place and finally the temple mommy used to pray during pregnant.

This week update ...

I like this picture of QY. She looks like a teenager than a 4 yo kid... Anyway, she was unfit this week - fever, running nose and cough and absent from school for 2 days. I was so worried that she will pass the virus to the little baby clau , luckily the little one is alright.

4 Years Old Birthday

This year QY had a rather special way of celebrating her 4 years old birthday. For the 1st time, she get to celebrate it with all her classmate in the nursery school on 15 September.

She requested a Minnie Mouse cake for this year.

My New Bundle of Joy

Mommy was so way behind updating this blog for this year, partly due to laziness, tiredness and etc etc .... But mommy will try to keep up the momentum to update this blog as often as i can...

Announcement....., Qian Yi has been 'promoted' to become a jie jie when her baby clau arrived on 2 Sept 2008. She likes to name her as "Baby Clau" even the baby is still in my stomach in the early stage ...

We took very few photo for her from day 1 till day 8 as daddy's camera was broke last month... As don't want to further miss to capture the golden and precious day as newborn, daddy decided to get a brand new SLR camera today and Baby Clau get to become daddy's 1st model for the shooting...




























Of course, not forgetting our big princess who is really a good model for photo shooting....
