Year end trip

Finally I have time to upload and update the last post for year 2010. After a long year of hard work, we finally decided to take a short break of 4 days 3 night to KL. It was a free and easy trip where we shop, eat, rest, sleep and swim at no time.

My 2 gals was excited upon checked in the hotel.

It was totally a good and easy experience to travel with 2 kids at the age of 6 and 2. Hope to have more chances to travel with them in the future...

Hand Foot mouth disease

This girl of mine seems like very prone to any disease out there... This time round, she was diagnosed with hand foot mouth disease on last Sat night after we came back from Strait Quay..

As prescribed by doctor, it is best to have her under home care instead of hospital stay. We have no choice but to separate her from Qian Thung by sending her back to maternal grandparent house for days.

Last Weekend

Last weekend, we visited the Strait Quay, the most happening mall in Penang.
It is really very impressive and proud to know Penang has this kind of nice building and mall.

Grandpa 68th birthday

This year, we celebrated paternal grandfather's 68th birthday at Victoria Station...

No photo was taken during meal time as we were too busy with the food and kids. Only took photo with the train after the dinner.

Back to sis-in law hse for cake cutting, the session kids enjoyed most.

This week update on Qian Thung

This strongest girl of mine is down with running nose, cough and fever this week. For 2 consecutive night, she woke up from sleep at 4.30am mid night with fever. We really have no idea where she infected the virus from as everyone of us at home are pretty healthy.

On the way to see the doctor...



Next day after she seeing the doctor, she resume back her normal cheeky act. She likes to check on her jie jie's school bag. She found this and wear up jie jie ballet shoe and sock, and pose herself.

Visit to ToysRus

During our recent shopping, we brought them to tour the ToysRus at Gurney Plaza...

Qian Thung's selection of the toys - baby in the stroller. But we did not buy for her at the end as jie jie has got a similar stroller at home.



Another selection - Barbie doll school bag. Too bad, we also didn't buy for her as well it is a bit expensive.

Graduated

When I look at this portrait of my 1st born baby this morning, I just realized how pretty she is...

Just not too long ago, I held her 2.62kg body at my arm the day she was born, followed by the 1st 3 yrs carefree days under the grandparent greatest love and care, and another 3 years time learning and playing at nursery school...

Today, she is graduated...

Very soon, she will start her next journey of life ~ Primary schooling days..

Learning Chinese

I always hope that my girls will love Chinese language, just like the mommy.... Ever since I switched her to the new kindy last December, I found that her degree of Chinese has improved tremendously ....

Below is some of the poem she learnt from her kindy... And she seems to be able to apply what she learnt...

I remembered our conversation one night.

QY : Mommy, u promised u want to do this (I can't recall what did I promise her the moment I am writing this post :P) for me ?

Mommy : Ok lar, tomorrow I will do...

QY : Mommy, why always tomorrow?

Then she started to say out the poem below to me...

Another Chinese poem...

I want KOPI

My little one requested this sentence to me - I want KOPI when i brought her along for lunch at one of the vegetarian store yesterday ... And guess what? She does enjoy the black coffee.

Looks like she is a real coffee baby since she started to drink coffee while she was still in my tummy.... I didn't quit of drinking coffee during the 9 mths carrying her, even though I know I have to...:P

Qian Yi is 6

I was super busy for the past few weeks, and that has caused the delay of late posting of Qian Yi's 6th year old birthday...

For the 1st time since she was born, I was absent on her big day - 15 Sept. Mommy was away at KL for a seminar. So, we'd pre-celebrated her birthday at Gurney Chicago Ribs on Raya weekend, followed by shopping for her birthday present... To try to wide away my guilt for my absence, I got her another set of Barbie with few sets of cloths... Mommy only got paper doll to play when I was 6...heheheh

My 1st born, who has transforming into a little adult today.....



Her new 2 permanent tooth is just growing out....

She always ask why mei mei got big eyes...



Besides, mother in law also organised a mini birthday party for her 3 September born granddaughter last week.

On 2 September this day

From last 2nd Sept, we have 2 birthday girls in this family. Qian Thung turn to TWO and Thung Yuan turn to ONE. We had a mini celebration party at home to co-celebrate their birthday.
