Happy Niu Year 2009

Our Chinese Lunar New Year officially started off with a praying session at 12 pm on the eve of CNY. May the year of OX brings us excellent health, prosperity and happiness...



1st day of CNY - visiting paternal grandparent. Today, maternal gong gong, ah mah and ah ku flying off to China for a leisure holiday in the early morning.



Qian Yi in her favourite cheong sam. She has grown up so much that she has developed and choosing her own taste of fashion. This is her 5th CNY celebration.

2nd day of CNY - all families member drove back to Taiping. QY get some new experience on motorbike. More photos can be seen from my sis in law blog.

3rd day of CNY - continuing the 'pai nia' activities to places like mommy's grandmother and aunt's house.

Saturday morning, daddy's friends organised a photo shooting session at Youth Park. It was a fun day for the kids (little models) and the photographers as well...

Below photographs are those captured by daddy but selected and shortlisted by mommy. There are over 300 shoot but I can only post few over there for sharing.

Qian Yi @ 4.3 yrs old

Time surely flies fast, I just realised I didn't pen down any monthly development for QY in this blog even though I started blogging when she was 18 months old. Because of this, I just don't have a clear memory of when she started her 1st roller over, her 1st teething, 1st smile and every new milestone she has developed from a baby to a toddler today. Knowing that the clock can't be turned back, I got to start recording her current development from time to time ...

At this stage, she is :-

1) a talkactive girl but she knows when to keep quite (when mommy get angry or when mommy attending to her crying sister).
2) Her weight is at 20kg. Her appetite is so good that her mouth is busy with food most of the time.
3) She is a best pal to mommy during shopping time and daddy's good buddy for movie time.
4) She loves her sister, but sometimes she get jeoulous too when I attended or focus on baby QT.
5) She has her own taste or preference on her dress and shoes. She choose the cheong sam that she is wearing in the photos posted below by herself.

She is my cheeky and cute angel.

Qian Thung @ 4 mo

Qian Thung turned 4 months old at 2nd Jan, she is now

- drinking 5 oz milk but every 3 hourly
- her weight is at 7.4kg
- she took the 1st dose of pneumococal vaccination at Adventist. She is really a brave girl as she only cried for a very short while only.
- she can recognise faces and places. She will smile to everyone even to a stranger but strange enough, she cry whenever seeing her maternal grandparent.
- she started to roll over but not 100% successful yet.
- had the 4 months old celebration on 1st Jan 2009. Started with a simple praying session and later grandmum hang the biscuit around her neck and we also let her 'taste' the chicken drumstick.

When QY was at 4 months old, I started to dress her up just like I used to dress up my doll when I was young.
